هند طاهر مترجمة وصحافية حرة ساكنة بشارع العرب ببرلين. هي مصرية وُلدت وعاشت بالقاهرة. درست هند الأدب الألماني بمصر ودراسات اسلامية وعلوم سياسية ببرلين. 'سنية شخلع' هو إسمها الفني كراقصة في 'كباريه سنية شخلع'، اللي هو عبارة عن جمعة ببيتها بشارع العرب أول سبت من كل شهر، 'على ما تفرج وتلاقي كباريه محترم يتبناها أو مخرج يكتشفها'، على حسب قولها.

Hend Taher is a translator and independent journalist currently living in Sonnenallee, Berlin. She was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt where she also studied German literature. Hend then migrated to Berlin to graduate in Islamic and political studies. 'Saniya Shakhlaa' is the artistic pseudonym she uses as a dancer at the 'Saniya Shakhlaa Cabaret', a gathering she hosts at her apartment in Sonnenallee, on the first Saturday of each month. 'Saniya is on the lookout for a better cabaret or a director to unravel her many talents leading to her artistic breakthrough' states Hend.
